Privacy Policy
Version 1.0 · in force from 22 October 2026
Short version
- We collect what we need to run your account, bookings and requests: name, email, phone and trip or stay details.
- The driver or partner who carries out your service receives only what they need, such as your name, phone and pickup details.
- Card payments are handled by Stripe. We never see or store your card number.
- We do not use advertising or analytics cookies.
- You can ask to see, correct, export or delete your data by writing to us.

3. Why we use it and on what legal basis
- To create your account, take your booking or request, arrange the service and send updates — performance of the contract (art. 6(1)(b) GDPR).
- To assess driver applications and manage the drivers we work with — steps taken at your request before a contract, and the contract itself (art. 6(1)(b)); checks the law requires for passenger transport (art. 6(1)(c)).
- To keep invoices, accounting and tax records — legal obligation (art. 6(1)(c)).
- To prevent fraud and abuse and keep the platform secure — our legitimate interest (art. 6(1)(f)).
- To email customers about our own similar services — art. 130(4) of the Italian Privacy Code ("soft opt-in") and our legitimate interest. You can object at any time, free of charge (see section 7).
4. Who receives your data
We do not sell your data. We share it only with:
- the driver, hotel or other partner who carries out the service you booked, limited to what they need (for example your name, phone, pickup details and flight number);
- hosting and database providers;
- image storage providers (for driver and vehicle photos);
- map and address search providers;
- email delivery providers;
- the payment provider (Stripe);
- accountants, lawyers and public authorities, when the law requires it.
Providers that process data on our behalf do so under a data processing agreement.
5. Transfers outside the European Union
Some providers are based in, or have staff or servers in, the United States or other non-EU countries. In those cases the transfer is covered by an adequacy decision of the European Commission (such as the EU-US Data Privacy Framework for certified companies) or by the Standard Contractual Clauses approved by the Commission. You can ask us for details.
6. Cookies
We only use cookies and browser storage that are needed to run the site, such as keeping you logged in and remembering an unfinished booking. Details are in the Cookie Policy.
7. Marketing emails
If you have booked with us, we may email you about our own similar services. You can say no at any time by writing to abgentop@gmail.com or on WhatsApp at +39 329 476 7272. We will stop within a few days.
8. How long we keep your data
- Account data: while your account is active. You can ask us to delete it at any time.
- Bookings, invoices and payments: 10 years, as required by Italian accounting and tax law (art. 2220 Civil Code).
- Hotel and service requests that do not become a booking: for as long as needed to handle the request.
- Driver data: while we work together and afterwards for as long as the law requires; applications that are not accepted are deleted when no longer needed or when you ask.
- Marketing: until you object.
9. Your rights
You have the right to access your data, correct it, delete it, restrict or object to its use, and receive it in a portable format (articles 15–22 GDPR). Write to abgentop@gmail.com. We reply within one month.
Some data cannot be deleted before the end of the period the law requires us to keep it, such as invoices.
You also have the right to complain to the Italian data protection authority, the Garante per la protezione dei dati personali (www.garanteprivacy.it).
10. Children
To create an account you must be at least 14 years old. Bookings for younger children must be made by a parent or guardian.
11. Security
We use encrypted connections (HTTPS), one-time login codes, access limited to staff who need it, and providers with recognised security standards. No system is perfectly secure; if a breach affects your data, we will act as the GDPR requires.
12. Changes
We may update this policy. The version and date are shown at the top of the page. If a change is important, we will tell you on the site or by email.
